Scientists Develop A Method To ‘Upload Knowledge to your Brain’

Ever imagined how the world would be if you don’t need to make any efforts to learn any new skills or Knowledge? What if skills are directly uploaded to brain to make you learn, driving the airplane?

Life will be much easier. We have seen new technology and programs are uploaded to a Robot in order to teach them new skills. So do you want this type of technique? Of course, you all be saying YES!
Scientists have found a way where they can feed information into anyone’s brain and it wouldn’t even require that much effort as they claim it will be as easy as falling asleep. Scientists at HRL information and system Sciences Laboratory, California have been working on a low-current electrical brain stimulation to modulate a person’s learning of complex, real-world skills.
Dr. Matthew Philips, who led the team utilized a neurostimulation technique known as TDCS (Transcranial direct current stimulation) to excite areas in the brain which are responsible for learning and skilling retention. TDCS technique is a noninvasive, painless shock that makes use of a constant, small electric current to excite specific brain regions.
Dr. Phillips said “Our system is one of the first of its kind. It’s a brain stimulation system,”
“It sounds kind of sci-fi, but there’s large scientific basis for the development of our system”.
“The specific task we were looking at was piloting an aircraft, which requires a synergy of both cognitive and motor performance”.
“When you learn something, your brain physically changes. Connections are made and strengthened in a process called neuroplasticity”.
“It turns out that certain functions of the brain, like speech and memory, are located in very specific regions of the brain, about the size of your pinky.”
He also said, “We were able to take a group of individuals and train them to a similar level.”
“The method relies on physical contact with the scalp – a head-cap through the conductive gel to apply current to the skin”.
“The effects can persist for hours. The effects take days or weeks of practice to consolidate. It’s the same learning mechanism; we’re just amplifying or boosting it”.
“As we discover more about optimizing, personalizing, and adapting brain stimulation protocols, we’ll likely see these technologies become routine in training and classroom environments”.
“It’s possible that brain stimulation could be implemented for classes like drivers’ training, SAT prep, and language learning.”
